Dr. Milind Chauhan is a trusted and reputed gynaecologist and obstetrician in Andheri East, Mumbai, specialising in pregnancy care, medical termination of pregnancy, normal vaginal delivery, infertility treatment in both males and females, and general women’s healthcare. Dr. Milind also offers other women’s healthcare services such as pregnancy counselling, PCOS treatment, menstrual disorder care, and menopause advice.

He has an MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and completed his DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

With over eleven years of extensive hands-on experience, he has helped numerous women improve their quality of life through personalised diagnosis and treatment. What services do you offer at your clinics?

Can I do my consultation over the phone?

Yes, we provide online and on-call consultations as well.

Do you offer cesarean delivery or just normal delivery?

We provide both vaginal/normal delivery and cesarean delivery of your baby, depending on your health conditions and requirements.

Do you offer fertility assessments and advice?

Yes, we do offer fertility assessment and advice for couples trying to conceive.

Are there any specific tests or screenings I should undergo regularly?

We recommend you to get your hemoglobin and thyroid levels checked once in a while. You should also consider an ultrasonography every year and a PAP smear test.

Do you offer cashless mediclaim? How does it work with your affiliate hospitals?

Yes. If your insurer/TPA and policy support cashless at our affiliate/network hospitals, the hospital will submit a pre‑authorization to your insurer/TPA at admission (or in advance for planned procedures). Once approved, admissible hospitalization bills are settled directly between the insurer/TPA and the hospital. You’ll pay only for non‑covered items, deductibles/co‑pays, and charges beyond policy limits. In emergencies, the hospital initiates authorization as early as possible; for planned admissions, start the process a few days in advance to avoid delays. Final discharge may take additional time while the insurer/TPA issues the approval.

What documents are required for cashless admission?

Keep these ready:

Insurance e‑card/policy copy and insurer/TPA details
Government photo ID (patient) and contact information
Doctor’s advice/admission note and relevant medical records/reports
Duly filled pre‑authorization/claim form (hospital/doctor will assist)
For corporate policies: employee/Corporate ID (if applicable) Note: Additional documents may be requested by your insurer/TPA during processing.

Which insurers/TPAs and affiliate hospitals are in your cashless network, and what isn’t covered?

We have tie‑ups with leading insurers/TPAs and a growing network of affiliate hospitals. Network eligibility depends on your specific policy—please confirm with our help desk at drmilindchauhan@nurturingpetals.in or your insurer before admission. Typically not covered under cashless: non‑medical consumables, administrative/registration charges, attendant meals, upgrades beyond room‑rent limits, and costs above policy sub‑limits or exclusions. If pre‑authorization is partially/fully denied, you can opt to pay and file for reimbursement as per your policy.
